Port of Auckland Increase to Peak VBS Container Access Fee

Port of Auckland has confirmed a rate increase to the Peak VBS Container Access Charge at Port of Auckland. The increase will become effective from 01 July 2026.

As Nexus is unable to absorb the additional costs, our current PoAL Peak VBS Container Access Fee will increase to $250.00 + GST per container. The Off-peak VBS charge will remain the same at $135.00 + GST per container.

The current Rail Handling Fee of $110.00 + GST will also remain the same.

 We will continue to mitigate cost increases within the supply chain wherever possible while continuing to provide the best service to you, our customers.
